Quikrete, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is looking for a Regional Engineer, Due to coverage needed for the entire state this applicant can be based out of the DFW metroplex / San Antonio / Houston.

About the Role -
This applicant can be based out of the DFW metroplex / San Antonio / Houston.
What you will do:
· Partner with Corporate Engineering and Facility staff to develop and execute projects from conception to completion
· Be ready to spend the time needed in our small bag concrete plants to manage and assist with equipment installs and upgrades through to completion
· Utilize your expertise and experience to identify, design and drive improvement opportunities with palletizers, dryers, hooders, conveyors, robots, elevators etc.
· Develop Continuous Improvement initiatives at the plant both through capital and process improvement
· Help drive home CMMS initiatives
· Ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
· Visiting plants and executing full scale audits on the machinery, processes, and maintenance functions
About You
· You have large scale, capital project management experience
· You are driven by process improvement, equipment upgrades and continuously seeking areas to better our business
· You have industrial manufacturing experience including 3 – 5 years working on site in plants
· You have experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance, government and environmental compliance, material handling and storage and AutoCAD 2D
· You live by your project management tools and have proven success delivering complex projects
· You have exceptional relationship building skills and are able to communicate well at all levels
· You are able to travel up to 70%
· You have earned a BS in Engineering or more advanced degree
