Job Description:
As a Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing database solutions that ensure secure, efficient, and scalable access to vital program data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-performance database environments in AWS and Azure, while adhering to strict security and compliance standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support mission-critical systems and contribute to the success of tactical military operations.
Responsibilities:

Install, configure and monitor Oracle Data Guard physical standby databases.

Implement and administer Active Data Guard Feature.

Deploy the Hadoop File System (HDFS), and peripheral technologies in its ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Hbase/Cassandra, Flume, Zookeeper) using both automated toolsets as well as manual processes.

Maintain, support, and upgrade Hadoop clusters.

Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of multiple Oracle 11g
databases and Oracle E-Business Suite R12 BPEL instances. -
Provide disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, administration and monitoring of data using Oracle 12c, 11gR2, and RAC technologies and evaluate and recommend available database management support products.

Translate systems and subsystems designs and detailed designs into
database structures and provide advice on differing database designs and access methods in problem resolutions, design, and development situations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering

Must have two years of work experience.

Must have experience with Javascript, Bootstrap, C, Python.
