We are looking for a qualified teacher who can teach A Grade Ahead students in-person at our Bear-Delaware Academy. We have Math and English subjects for grades ranging from Kindergarten through High School.
A teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
Skills
- Proven experience as a teacher
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to listen and respond quickly to ensure children's safety
- Certification in child CPR (optional) COVID Vaccination preferred but not required
- Ability to remain calm during heated discussions with children
- Patience, passion, creativity, strong communication skills with children
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
