Responsibilities
- Conduct routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying baskets to ensure optimal water quality.
- Perform water chemistry balancing by testing pH levels, alkalinity, chlorine, and other chemical agents; adjust chemicals safely following proper handling procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain and inspect pool plumbing systems to detect leaks or malfunctions; perform necessary repairs or coordinate with specialists.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to travel between job sites efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
- Adhere to safety standards related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and outdoor work environments at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience with pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot pool equipment and plumbing systems effectively.
- Experience handling water treatment chemicals safely and understanding pool chemistry balancing techniques.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about service procedures and recommendations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.
