Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. A strong commitment to patient care and adherence to infection control protocols is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and preventive care.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other relevant procedures.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

Pay: $114,346.23 - $137,707.28 per year
