Job Overview
Playful Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of our clinic. The successful candidate will ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients, families, and staff, contributing to the smooth daily operations of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, therapy rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs or replacements needed
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor fixtures
- Complete cleaning duties within scheduled times to minimize disruption
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required; training provided
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently while following safety protocols
- Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in all work responsibilities
