Duration & Type: 12 months Contract with a major pharmaceutical industry client
Location: RTC, Durham, North Carolina
Responsibilities:
- Provide area support for different tasks related to implementation of LIMS (Laboratory information management system)
- Responsible for understanding business requirements and to work effectively with business owners to define and translate business requirements
- Manage LIMS change requests, ensuring on-going system compliance with established standards
- Provide application support and training to end users
- Execute validation documents and participate in testing and execution of test scripts
Required:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of LIMS configuration and end to end system implementation
- Ability to translate user specifications into system functionality requirements
- Experience of implementing Laboratory tools and solutions
- Strong working knowledge of GxP software applications
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of laboratory functions and processes
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports (nice to have)
- Familiarity with HP Service Manager (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports (nice to have)
- Demonstrated success in working in a fast-paced dynamic team environment
