Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. The Project Superintendent will coordinate with multiple teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain safety and compliance on-site. Duties
- Lead daily on-site operations, ensuring all activities adhere to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews to ensure quality work and timely completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and identify potential delays.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide construction activities and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA safety standards, quality control measures, and environmental regulations.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports using ProCore or Bluebeam software.
- Oversee project budgeting, cost control measures, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency while maintaining high standards of work.
Experience
- Proven management experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a strong background in supervising construction sites.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and quality control.
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as Heavy Bid and Primavera P6 for planning and resource management.
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols including OSHA regulations.
- Surveying experience is a plus.
- Must be able to set up survey equipment and read grades.
- Strong supervisory skills with a history of leading diverse teams effectively while maintaining high morale.

Paid Vacation as follows:
- 1 – 5 years : 80 hours
- 6 – 10 years : 120 hours
- 11 – 19 years : 136 hours
- 20+ years : 160 hours
Paid Holidays as folllows:
- July 4th

- Christmas
- New Year’s Day
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
