Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Part-Time Driver to join our team for morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, and a strong commitment to safety. This position is perfect for individuals looking to make a part-time income.
Responsibilities
- Pick up resident in West Chester at 8:30am, take to Day Program in Thorndale. Return to Day Program at 2:30pm, pick up resident and take him home to West Chester.
- Safely operate company vehicle, while transporting a resident to his Day Program.
- Provide courteous and friendly attitude to resident and staff during pickups and drop-offs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines to ensure secure transportation operations
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly
- Reliable, friendly, and able to do short AM and PM shifts.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members confidently and professionally
- Valid PA driver’s license
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety compliance
- Current CPR, First Aid certification desired, but not necessary, as training will be provided.
- Clean driving record and criminal record will be verified.
Pay: $17.50 per hour
