Project Manager, Precast Concrete & Prefabricated Construction
Wallingford, CT (on-site) | $75,000–$100,000 | Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll own assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, accountable for procurement, installation, performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You'll lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and coordinate with our shop team to deliver projects on schedule.
What You'll Do
- Review project plans, specifications, submittals, and scopes of work; assess feasibility and buildability of each design
- Manage project budgets from start to finish, including procurement, monthly AIA invoicing, and change orders
- Work closely with customers, engineers, and architects throughout each project
- Obtain and evaluate vendor cost solicitations for specialty items and integrate them into construction
- Monitor shop production and conduct weekly inspections to ensure quality, scope, and schedule compliance
- Develop O&M manuals and coordinate materials and deliveries with Electrical, Installation, and Shop Managers
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of progressive project management experience on commercial and municipal projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- OSHA 10 certification (PMP a plus, not required)
- Job cost accounting knowledge and experience managing project budgets
- Ability to read construction drawings and familiarity with building codes, contract documents, and construction safety standards
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills — you can coordinate multiple teams under pressure and build cooperative working relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (QuickBooks Enterprise a plus)
Work Environment
- Full-time, on-site in Wallingford, CT; workweeks average 45+ hours during active project periods
- Limited travel to project sites in New England and New York, plus occasional trade shows
- Must be able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, and work in all weather conditions when inspecting projects
Pay & Benefits
