Are you an experienced Journeyman Electrician seeking a challenging and rewarding position? We are on the hunt for a talented and highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. You will also be tasked with ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys working with their hands and has a deep understanding of electrical systems. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

Perform general electrical maintenance.

Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.

Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.

Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.

Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.

Work with electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Collaborate with team members to address electrical issues and implement solutions.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.

Experience working with electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Proficient in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local building regulations.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Proficient in using electrical and manual tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.

Valid license to practice the profession.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
