Digital Label Finishing Operator / Grafotronic Die Cutter
Labels Unlimited Company is a leading manufacturer of premium pressure-sensitive labels, serving customers in the food & beverage, personal care, household products, automotive, industrial, and consumer goods industries. From our modern Chicago facility, we utilize the latest digital and flexographic printing technology to produce high-quality labels for brands across North America.
We're looking for an experienced Digital Label Finishing Operator to operate our Grafotronic digital finishing system. If you enjoy working with advanced equipment, solving problems, and producing exceptional quality, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the Grafotronic digital finishing line.
- Perform semi-rotary and laser die cutting, slitting, rewinding, laminating, varnishing, and other finishing operations.
- Monitor production runs and make adjustments to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished labels to ensure they meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Work closely with prepress, digital press operators, and quality control to ensure smooth production.
- Maintain accurate production records and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience operating Grafotronic equipment is highly preferred.
- We will also consider candidates with experience on ABG, GM, DeltaModTech, Rotoflex, or other digital label finishing equipment.
- Experience in pressure-sensitive label manufacturing preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

- Mark Andy flexographic presses
- Laser die cutting
- BST inspection systems
- Lamination, varnish, cold foil, and specialty finishing equipment
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
