Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Analyzer Technician to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and optimizing complex industrial systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining analytical equipment and automation systems across manufacturing environments. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using advanced tools such as ohmmeters, sensors, and precision measuring instruments.
- Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments, vision inspection systems, and industrial automation equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), schematics, electrical blueprints, and control system diagrams including distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct field service activities including installation, repair, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Utilize engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of system failures; implement effective solutions following electrical safety procedures.
- Support programming tasks related to automation systems using platforms such as Calypso or similar engineering software; assist with modifications to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades involving CNC machinery, sensors, vision inspection systems, and pneumatic/hydraulic components to optimize manufacturing processes.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Proven experience with electrical diagnostics, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and calibration procedures.
- Familiarity with industrial automation platforms including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and software like AutoCAD for system design or modifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues involving high voltage and low voltage circuits safely and effectively.
- Experience working with sensors, vision inspection systems, P&IDs, schematics, calibration tools, precision measuring instruments, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures aligned with industry standards; capable of performing field service tasks in manufacturing environments.
- Background in engineering troubleshooting within manufacturing or military settings is advantageous; excellent customer service skills are essential for cross-departmental collaboration.
