Lab Technician – Building Products Segment

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Lab Technician to join our Building Products division. In this role, you’ll support daily laboratory operations by receiving and preparing samples, performing testing, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both building projects and hands‑on technical work, follows procedures precisely, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Receive and log client samples with accurate documentation.

Review and follow lab work orders and SOPs.

Prepare specimens for testing according to established protocols.

Perform assigned tests with accuracy, impartiality, and attention to detail.

Prepare test data for transfer to the technical team.

Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; report issues promptly.

Track project and lab activity time in Acumatica.

Follow all safety policies and procedures, including handling hazardous materials.

Support general lab upkeep and facility maintenance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Some education in a related field (Lab Science, Chemistry, Biology, or similar) preferred
Previous lab or hands-on experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
