About the Role
Community Options Residential Services, Inc. is seeking a Residence Director (Group Home Manager) to oversee a Community Living Arrangement supporting adults with developmental disabilities. This role includes program oversight, staff supervision, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the residential program.
- Lead, train, and supervise Direct Care Staff.
- Coordinate Individual Plans, Behavior Plans, and Health Care Plans.
- Attend medical appointments and ensure follow-up care.
- Oversee medication administration per DDS regulations.
- Maintain documentation, financial records, and household safety.
- Ensure transportation, meal planning, and community integration activities.
- Complete incident reports, fire drills, and OSHA compliance tasks.
- Provide on-call coverage (minimum 5 nights per week).
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Education, Health, Human Services, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience with individuals with disabilities.
- 1+ year supervisory experience in residential/human services preferred.
- Valid CT driver’s license and ability to perform a two-person lift.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, plus on-call responsibilities. (At least 5 night per week)
