Award-winning Salon Pure in downtown Princeton is seeking full-time apprentices. This opportunity is ideal for aspiring hairstylists and colorists who want to build practical experience, sharpen their skills, and develop valuable industry connections.
Training and Education
Learn directly from our award-winning editorial team through:
· In-house classes in cutting, razor cutting, color, balayage, extensions, updos, makeup, and more
· Guest artist classes led by Goldwell and Paul Mitchell team members, featuring the latest techniques
Hands-On Development
Apprentices receive rotating, one-on-one training with our seasoned stylists, creating a focused pathway to advance onto the salon floor.
Requirements
· A valid cosmetology license
· Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
Hair Stylist Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Shampoo hair
- Prepare hair stylist stations
- Mix colors
- Laundry
- Stock towels, products, and retail inventory
- Provide other assistance as necessary
Salon Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
- Completion of a cosmetology school program or currently attending cosmetology school
- Cosmetology license strongly preferred
- Professional or aesthetic appearance
- Customer service skills
- Flexible schedule
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
