Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL driver with dump truck experience. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in their work and their equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Drive dump truck to assigned destinations safely and efficiently.
- Operate levers or cranks to tilt truck body and dump contents.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (tires, lights, brakes, fluids).
- Maintain a clean truck and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Accurately record load ticket information for customer and invoicing purposes.
- Remain in full DOT compliance at all times.
- Observe all safety rules and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Contribute positively to team goals and maintain professional communication with customers and coworkers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience (required).
- Clean driving record.
- Must pass a drug and alcohol test and background check.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills; able to follow directions and work independently.
- Punctual, dependable, and professional.
