We are seeking a Reginal Safety Director to service the West, TX area. This position will be responsible for managing compliance with DOT regulations, safety training, and Hours of Service.
Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
- Manage New Hire Orientation, Safety Training, and other training as required
- Must have knowledge of Commercial Motor Vehicle regulations
- Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Must have knowledge of Hours of Service for Texas and Federal regulations
- Manage Compliance, Safety and Accountability (CSA) scores
- Maintain DOT & OSHA regulations compliance
- Coach and hold accountable employees for safety compliance
- Ensure incidents and accidents are reported and investigated immediately
- Schedule and Conduct Quarterly Safety Meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, HS Diploma or GED required
- 5 years of Safety experience
- 5 years of OSHA experience
- 5 years of experience in DOT compliance
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Incident/Accident Investigation skills
- Cargo securement experience
- Vehicle inspection experience
Travel
