Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and nurture young minds in a dynamic educational environment. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curricula tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of children.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to create a safe and respectful environment.
- Support children’s emotional well-being through attentive care, active listening, and fostering social interactions.
- Conduct assessments and utilize standardized testing results to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure each child's individual needs are met effectively.
- Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches when appropriate to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and behavioral observations in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Promote inclusive practices for children with special education needs or early intervention requirements.
- Facilitate activities that develop fine motor skills, literacy skills, numeracy understanding, and physical development.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschoolers or toddlers, including daycare settings.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for young learners.
- Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention programs to support diverse learners.
- Experience in lesson planning that incorporates literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Ability to implement childcare best practices ensuring child welfare and safety at all times.
- Prior experience working in private schools or daycare centers is highly desirable.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
