Job description
We are seeking a Retail Associate/Server to join our team at Morelia Gourmet Paletas! You will be responsible for serving our gourmet paletas (ice cream bars) and performing other related activities that are crucial for our everyday operation.
Shift: Day 12-6pm* / Evening 5:30pm-11pm (* 11-6pm on weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Welcome our guests with a serviceable attitude.
- Explain our products, their customization options, and other promotions and deals.
- Serve our Paletas in a hygienic and careful manner.
- Maintain supplies and equipment organized and clean.
- Maintain guest areas (seating, restroom, etc) clean.
- Accurately process cash sales and cash procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prioritize hygiene and personal presentation.
- Ability to clean the entire shop, including restrooms.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30Lb.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work on weekends, nights and holidays.
- Ability to work in a clean, sanitary and organized manner.
- Reliably be on time according to work schedule.
Desirable but not restrictive:
- Prior food handling experience.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Prior cash handling experience.
