Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plaintiff Personal Injury Pre-lit Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a docket, managing office tasks, calendaring, accounting, meeting deadlines, scheduling, continued contact with client and providing exceptional customer service. This role may also change based on the teams strengths and weaknesses with the other team members as best suited for the company and all members of the team will be expected to do what is needed of them in the office. There may be an opportunity for training to do some motion drafting. This position requires attention for details and a great work ethic. This role requires proficiency in various office software and strong clerical skills to ensure efficient operations within our organization. Bilingual read, write and speak is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage filing systems for easy retrieval of documents and information.
- Assist with customer support by answering inquiries via multi-line phone systems and providing information as needed.
- Support front desk operations, greeting visitors and managing appointments through calendar management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office management and administrative functions.
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution or filing.
- Handle clerical tasks such as typing, organizing files, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
- Handle daily docket as it pertains to records and case management.
- Provide bilingual support as needed to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
Qualifications
- Previous office experience is required; medical records and billing records experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong computer skills with a focus on data entry accuracy and computer literacy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal injury case management experience is preferred. Including handling Medical Record and Billing with affidavits, LORs, PD, PIP/Medpay, intake, contracts, treatment, liens, records, scheduling, closing accounting etc.
