We are looking to add a skilled carpenter to our team who is experienced in the interior carpentry field on upper end homebuilding. Most of the work we do is located in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area on new construction homes ranging from 3-10 million. Scope of work:
-Perform various interior carpentry tasks including installation of casings, baseboards, pocket doors, cabinetry installation, cabinetry construction, coffer ceilings, crown, closet shelving.
- Installation of door hardware and bath accessories
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as solely a trim carpenter.
- Proficient in trim carpentry, cabinet installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings.
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics.
- Reliable and good work ethic
