Part time night position (4p-9p Thurs & Fri, Saturday between 11a-9p and Sunday 11a-7p).
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of dishes during busy service periods
- Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines at all times to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving heavy items
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and kitchen areas are thoroughly cleaned
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations
- Familiarity with catering or banquet settings is a plus but not required
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health regulations
