Rudd Plumbing Heating Air & Electrical is a locally owned and operated with a reputation for providing quality service, maintenance, sales, and installation to the greater Charleston, SC tricounty region for over 10 years. We are seeking a Manager to lead our residential and commercial HVAC and Ductwork installations.
Eligible candidates must possess at least 10+ years of verifiable HVAC Installation and Management experience progressing from the filed into management with at least three (3) years managing HVAC Install teams and projects in both residential and commercial settings.
What Do We Need?
The HVAC Install Manager will work closely with the Install Coordinator to ensure jobs flow smoothly, provide technical support to field teams, provide professional development through training and performance reviews, make hire/term recommendations, take disciplinary action when necessary, and ensure the department meets business objectives.
- Meet or exceed departmental and company business plan goals and metrics and setting the example/pace for team members to follow.
- Manage sub crews, budgets, and project workflows from start to finish.
- Oversee residential HVAC and Ductwork installations.
- Bid and manage commercial HVAC and Ductwork projects.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to include cleanliness, inventory, tools, etc.
- Ensure the team has proper tools for the job and that they are properly maintained.
- Review reports, findings, issues, etc with ownership in weekly meetings.
- Instruct crews on proper use of materials and quality workmanship.
- Perform field work as needed including, but not limited to, site visits, callbacks, OTJ training, troubleshooting, and quality control inspections.
- Evaluate and improve team performance by conducting 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, ongoing technical training via third parties, and field technical support.
