KEY QUANTIFIABLE INDICATORS:
Bachelor degree in Human Services at an accredited college/university with one year of experience, or a BS degree in a field not related to human services with four years of experience. Successful candidate must be a qualified professional Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor, CADC or CADC-I or LCAS
Advanced computer skills, ability to enter data into agency Electronic Medical Records system
Valid NC driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
Timely and regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
Skill Set:
Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders, withdrawal syndrome; ability to apply related Evidence-based therapeutic models, to include also a working knowledge of group dynamics, crisis intervention, and family therapy; ability to interact with clients, families, co-workers and community members; knowledge of community resources, medical terminology, brain chemistry processes, psycho-pharmacology, ASAM criteria, DSM V diagnosis; knowledge of the laws, regulations and policies governing substance abuse.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Conducts diagnostic and psycho-social evaluations, counseling, and case support which focus on evidence-based treatment of Substance Use Disorders and all of the related issues which impact daily living.
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
