Location: On-site – 1257 East College Ave State College, PA
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Are you a college student looking for a flexible evening job that fits around your class schedule?
ROOFX is hiring 2–3 friendly and dependable students to join our Customer Service team. As one of the first people our prospective customers speak with, you'll play an important role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring we never miss an opportunity to help a potential client.
To provide flexibility during busy academic periods, we'll be hiring multiple students for this position. This allows the team to easily cover shifts when someone has exams, classes, or other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from prospective customers.
- Provide a friendly, professional, and helpful first point of contact.
- Gather customer information accurately.
- Schedule appointments for customers using our booking system.
- Route calls or relay messages to the appropriate team members when necessary.
Training Provided
No previous customer service experience is required. We will provide full training on:
- How to handle common customer inquiries.
- How to schedule appointments using our system.
- Our call procedures and customer service expectations.
Qualifications
- Current college student in the State College area.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, reliable, and professional.
- Available to work on-site from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
