Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and responsible seasonal Bus Drivers to transport campers and staff safely to and from camp activities. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about working with children, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a safe travel environment. As a Bus Driver at Camp Canadensis, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and secure experience for everyone on board.
Duties
- Safely operate school buses and other commercial vehicles to transport campers and staff according to schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and camp policies during transportation routes.
- Communicate effectively with campers, staff, and camp leadership to coordinate schedules and address any concerns.
- Assist with loading and unloading passengers, ensuring proper behavior management onboard.
- Proven experience in bus driving, commercial driving, or school bus driving with valid driver’s licenses.
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Excellent behavior management skills to handle young passengers responsibly.
