The Lead Valve Clinic Coordinator functions under the direction of the CV Service Line Director. They will Lead and oversee daily operations of the valve program, ensuring smooth coordination between cardiology, cardiac surgery, imaging, and cath lab teams. Participates in the clinical management of patients with cardiac valve disease through the continuum of care in collaboration with the providers. Coordinates the clinical evaluation of potential structural heart candidates. A strong clinical background dealing with structural heart anomalies and treatments of valvular heart disease is essential. Participates extensively in the clinical management of patients referred to and treated through the Valve Clinic. Provides ongoing education and support for the patient/caregiver through the entire process from referral to intervention to post-procedure care. Serves as a clinical expert and consultant to nursing, and team members at Round Rock Medical Center. Ensures compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines, as well as facilitates fulfillment of registry guidelines. Performs other related duties as required.
What you will do:

Manages daily unit operations, staffing, and departmental activities to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.

Serves as the primary coordinator and liaison for Structural Heart Program procedures (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip), facilitating collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.

Oversees incident reporting, medication error documentation, and regulatory/accreditation compliance.

Leads performance improvement initiatives by monitoring clinical outcomes, analyzing trends, and implementing action plans.

Supports budget development, resource management, and operational problem-solving in collaboration with leadership.

Recruits, orients, develops, schedules, evaluates, and mentors staff while assisting with employee relations and counseling.

Coordinates educational programs, staff training, student/preceptor assignments, and ongoing professional development.

Ensures compliance with nursing standards, evidence-based protocols, and organizational policies.

Monitors and improves patient, physician, and employee satisfaction through follow-up, communication, and corrective actions.

Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans and optimize cardiovascular patient care.

Tracks case volume, patient demographics, registry data, and clinical outcomes to support program growth and quality initiatives.

Develops educational materials for patients and healthcare providers and serves as a change agent to drive clinical excellence.

Provides leadership coverage for the unit as needed and performs additional duties to support organizational goals.
What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

3 years RN experience Required Years of Experience with 2 years of experience managing cardiac patients preferably in a telemetry or coronary care unit
