About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to screen, evaluate, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a long-term care/rehab setting. This role focuses on developing individualized treatment plans that improve patients' quality of life and help them regain function and independence.
Responsibilities
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services or make referrals as needed
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other care providers
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
- Document all required information accurately in the electronic system, including treatment minutes and discharge summaries
- Participate in required meetings and facility/company trainings
- Supervise and support CFY or student SLPs as needed
- Maintain adherence to ASHA and state practice standards
Qualifications
- 1+ years of SLP experience required
- LTC or Rehab experience required
- Active ASHA and state licensure required
- CCC-SLP certification required
- New grads considered, provided they have Level II clinical experience
Pay & Schedule
- 8-hour shifts

Pay: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour
