Job Title: Real Estate Salesperson
Job Overview:
A Real Estate Salesperson will assist clients in the purchase, sale, and rental of properties. This role involves understanding the real estate market, advising clients on market conditions, creating property listings, conducting property viewings, and negotiating deals on behalf of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation:
- Meet with clients to determine their needs and preferences, including their property requirements, budget, and desired location.
- Provide guidance and assistance in selling or purchasing property for the right price under the best terms.
- Property Listings & Marketing:
- List properties on real estate platforms, ensuring accurate and appealing descriptions and photos.
- Create marketing strategies to promote properties through digital platforms, brochures, or open houses.
- Property Viewings:
- Conduct property tours for potential buyers or renters.
- Highlight key features and answer questions regarding the property, neighborhood, and market conditions.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Keep up-to-date on real estate market trends, pricing, and legal requirements.
- Conduct comparative market analysis to determine a property’s value based on location, market conditions, and property features.
- Negotiations:
- Negotiate property prices and terms on behalf of clients.
- Ensure that both buyers and sellers are satisfied with the agreement.
- Contracts & Paperwork:
- Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, purchase agreements, leases, deeds, etc.).
- Ensure that the process complies with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
- Networking:
- Build relationships with clients, industry professionals, and other real estate agents.
- Attend industry events, open houses, and seminars to maintain and grow a professional network.
- Post-Sale Assistance:
- Follow up with clients after transactions to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Offer ongoing support for any additional real estate needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensing: A valid NYS real estate license as required by the state.
- Education: No education requirements.
- Experience: Previous experience in real estate or sales (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of real estate law and the local housing market.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency with real estate software and online platforms.
Work Environment:
- Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to meet client availability.
- Ability to travel for property viewings and client meetings.
Salary:
- Typically commission-based, with income depending on sales performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
