Position Summary:
Cary Learning Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Upper Elementary Enrichment Teacher to support students in Grades 4-6 during our after-school program.
The teacher will provide homework support, facilitate enrichment activities, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop academic confidence and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise upper elementary students during homeroom and enrichment periods.
Support homework completion and academic growth.
Facilitate STEM, reading, writing, and problem-solving activities.
Promote student engagement and leadership development.
Maintain classroom expectations and positive behavior supports.
Collaborate with school staff to support student success.
Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to administration.
Qualifications
Required:
Associate's degree or higher.
Experience working with upper elementary students.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Experience leading enrichment programs or clubs.
Preferred:
Teaching license or educational background.
STEM experience.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, Approximately 2:45 PM - 6:30 PM
