Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the heavy equipment industry, with proven expertise in managing service operations. As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in revenue generation and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for all aspects of service. This includes servicing end users, corporate clients, municipal organizations, and internal customers. RPM Machinery is set up to work on all makes, all models. This includes, but is not limited to, Case, Hyundai, New Holland, Bobcat, Komatsu, John Deere, Caterpillar, and others.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all daily service operations to ensure smooth functioning and optimal efficiency.
Develop and implement strategies to drive service revenue growth and profitability, in collaboration with the sales and management teams.
Maintain a thorough understanding of heavy equipment products and services offered, providing technical expertise and guidance to customers.
Establish strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Provide a positive, encouraging culture of personal development/career building for each employee.
Lead a team of technicians and support.
Minimum Requirements:
5 years’ proven experience managing a service department.
2 years’ proven experience in the construction equipment industry.
Working understanding of common key performance indicators and metrics in the service industry.
Strong customer service skills.
People skills.
Ability to delegate.
Strong follow through.
Proficient with computers, common software, and online portals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
