Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing outstanding service, maintaining guest relations, and assisting with food preparation. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed to maintain kitchen workflow.
- Manage multiple tables effectively while maintaining excellent time management skills.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds as needed for service duties.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
