Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring presentation aligns with quality standards.
- Serving breakfast & lunch under the requirements of the SBP & NSLP
- Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Handle food items and utensils manually, adhering to proper food handling protocols to prevent contamination.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including portioning, garnishing, and assembling dishes for service.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up stations, serving guests, and managing food distribution smoothly.
- Delivering meals to schools throughout the district
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or fast paced restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to handle manual weight handling tasks safely within a busy setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Background in food handling, food preparation, or culinary experience is advantageous.
- Previous hospitality or catering experience will support success in this role.
