Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate
We Are looking for an experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team.
Applicants MUST have previous experience operating a stand-up forklift and working on a loading dock where forklifts are driven directly into tractor trailers to load and unload freight.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a stand-up forklift throughout the warehouse and loading dock
- Drive forklift into tractor trailers to safely load and unload pallets
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing truckloads
- Move, stage, and organize pallets throughout the warehouse
- Receive and organize new incoming inventory
- Count and verify quantities of newly received products
- Report shortages, overages, damages, or other inventory discrepancies
- Build, prepare, and securely stretch-wrap pallets
- Measure and record pallet dimensions and weights
- Label and stage completed pallets for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and dock area
Required Experience
- Previous stand-up forklift experience is REQUIRED
- Previous loading dock and tractor-trailer loading/unloading experience is REQUIRED
- Must be comfortable driving a forklift directly into trailers
- Experience handling palletized freight
- Ability to accurately count and verify large quantities of merchandise
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
This is not an entry-level forklift position. Candidates without stand-up forklift and loading dock experience should not apply.
