Duties
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process retail sales transactions, including scanning items, applying discounts, and handling returns.
- Manage cash register operations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and balancing at the end of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering product questions, and assisting with product demos when needed.
- Upsell store products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and accessible retail environment aligned with merchandising standards.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers via phone or online channels.
- Support retail store operations through effective communication skills, teamwork, and maintaining a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with strong phone etiquette to ensure clear and friendly interactions.
