Duties
- Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction.
- Install rebar reinforcement and execute concrete forming techniques for durable structures.
- Perform masonry work including stucco application, tile laying, and restoration tasks to enhance building integrity and aesthetics.
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling while adhering strictly to safety protocols for workplace safety regulations.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, and caulking with precision.
- Support site preparation activities including demolition, renovation work, and site cleanup to maintain an organized work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and concrete finishing tools effectively.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and the use of technical drawings for precise execution.
- Experience with various construction disciplines such as framing, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, and concrete work.
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures for working on construction sites.
- Prior involvement in renovation or restoration projects is highly desirable.
