Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic part time Preschool Music Teacher to inspire young learners ages 2 through Pre K 4 year olds through the power of music! In this vibrant role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate musical experiences that foster creativity, literacy, and emotional growth in preschool children. Your enthusiasm will help cultivate a joyful learning environment where children can explore rhythm, melody, and movement while supporting their overall childhood development. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood education by blending music with foundational skills such as behavior management, classroom management, and early intervention strategies. This job requires in person teaching 2 days a week (Tuesday/Wednesday) from 10:30 am to noon from September 2026 through May 2027.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic music lessons aligned with developmentally appropriate principles
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, creativity, and social-emotional development through music activities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers.
- Incorporate age-appropriate instruments, movement, singing, and storytelling to enhance learning experiences for toddlers and preschoolers.
