Duties
- Engage in proactive outside sales efforts by cold calling and lead generation to identify new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs
- Develop and manage relationships with existing clients through account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Assist in territory management by analyzing market trends, identifying potential clients, and expanding market reach
- Support business development initiatives by participating in marketing campaigns, promotional events, and networking activities
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for strategic planning
- Negotiate deals effectively with clients while maintaining excellent customer service standards to upsell products or services when appropriate
Qualifications
- Strong interest in outside sales and marketing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and persuasively present products or services
- Basic understanding of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and analysis skills for tracking performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to schedule appointment, lead generation, and direct sales activities confidently
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving and negotiation
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Previous experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required; training will be provided
