Responsibilities and Duties:
The Service Coordinator has primary responsibility for managing service events: coordinating and scheduling daily service work as well as planning for emergency maintenance requests. This includes planning and responding to day-to-day customer questions, requests, and service needs. Working closely with Service leadership as an internal resource to the customer, this role ensures that customers are served quickly and courteously. This position will work with technical, parts, and administration teams to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with the products and services Coastal Fire and Integration Systems provides. Other duties may be assigned as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or minimum 3 years of dispatching or industry related or similar work experience, including dispatching technicians
- Ability to think critically, problem solve and make effective decisions
- Excellent employee and customer relations skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to effectively schedule resources based on current and projected workload
- Ability to meet deadlines and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities accordingly
- Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge in Foundation Software a plus.
- Spanish proficiency a plus.
- Knowledge of life safety and security industry a plus.
This is a non-exempt (hourly position). This position works out of our Poway, CA office. Work hours are normally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Service Coordinator may be required to work occasional after business hours, including on-call, and/or during the weekend to meet deadlines and goals. Individuals will be required to pass a background and drug test. A valid driver license and acceptable driving record are mandatory.
