About the Role
Copart is looking for a Senior Corporate Engineer, in this role the SCE will design complex systems, lead large technical projects, and mentor junior staff. They bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution, ensuring that corporate infrastructure and software run efficiently, securely, and at scale. This role requires the candidate to be locally based and attend office daily.
Duties and responsibilities include:

Lead the design, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise technology solutions and infrastructure.

Define technical requirements, architectures, standards, and interfaces across systems, applications, and platforms.

Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, designs, procedures, and operational standards.

Validate and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, security, and compliance with business requirements.

Partner with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders to identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and support strategic initiatives.

Present technical recommendations and project updates to leadership, partners, and end users.

Collaborate across teams to drive projects, resolve complex issues, and ensure successful technology delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
-
7–10 years of relevant recent IT hands-on experience
-
3–4 years of experience in implementing and supporting Corporate IT solutions
-
Strong experience with Microsoft AI technologies is a priority, including Copilot, agentic solutions, and modern AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI / Foundry).

Ability to evaluate, implement, and operationalize AI-driven solutions within Corporate IT is highly preferred

Experience in a multi-location (Global) fast-paced environment
Strong experience in several of the following:

Active Directory & Azure AD

PC/Mac workstation management (remote, WFH) experience (Endpoint Central/SCCM, AutoPilot, Mosyle, etc.)

Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, etc. for automation and monitoring

Implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies (Okta or others)

Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online/OneDrive, including Copilot integrations, governance, and migrations

Mobile Device Management

Confluence / JIRA (or similar applications)
Skills & Attributes

Fast learner who can convert requirements into solutions and quickly become a SME on a new platform

Strong ability to drive projects autonomously, as well as take input from others to optimize strategy

Strong communication, presentation, and solid project management skills

Excellent teaching, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs, including AI security, data governance, and responsible AI considerations
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Microsoft, ManageEngine, or Okta certifications (preferred)

Bachelors Degree in computer science/engineering or related field (preferred)
