Water Damage Restoration TechnicianJob Summary
Pronto Restoration is seeking a motivated and dependable Water Damage Restoration Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist with emergency water mitigation services, including water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and job site documentation. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers opportunities for advancement, paid training, and industry certifications while serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency water damage calls.
- Perform water extraction and removal of standing water.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including dehumidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers, and specialty drying systems.
- Take and document moisture readings using industry-standard equipment.
- Perform selective demolition of drywall, insulation, flooring, and other affected materials.
- Install containment barriers and maintain clean, safe work areas.
- Complete daily job documentation, photos, and moisture logs.
- Load, unload, clean, and maintain restoration equipment.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, plumbers, and insurance representatives.
- Follow company procedures and IICRC industry standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds.
- Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use smartphones and mobile applications for documentation.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous water mitigation, restoration, construction, or demolition experience.
- IICRC WRT and/or ASD Certification.
- Experience using moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, and restoration equipment.
- Experience with Xactimate, Encircle, DASH, or similar restoration software.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
