Your Day-to-Day Duties…
The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all company departments, including pharmacy, nursing, administration & sales, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements & organizational policies.
This role also involves managing the company's financial health, communicating key financial & performance updates to the corporate office & providing essential clinical pharmacy services.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure adherence to state & federal regulations for home infusion therapies.
- Maintain compliance through meticulous record-keeping, documentation & regular audits.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including proper storage, handling & disposal of medications & supplies.
- Ensure accurate & safe preparation and dispensing of medications for home infusion.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens.
- Provide medication therapy management, counseling & education to patients.
- Lead, train & mentor pharmacy staff to foster a cohesive and efficient team.
- Promote continuous learning among staff, keeping them updated on the latest therapies & technologies.
- Address staff concerns & performance issues promptly and professionally.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (healthcare professionals, manufacturers) & represent the company in professional forums.
