We are seeking a provider to cover the period from October 8 (7 AM) to October 12 (7 AM).
The surgical schedule will take place in the morning, while office hours are in the afternoon.
Responsibilities include rounding and providing oversight for post-operative patients in the ICU, with an expected patient load of approximately 2-5 admitted at any given time.
The surgeon will handle calls from the Cath Lab, inpatient units, and the emergency room, and will be responsible for urgent CABG and AVR procedures as necessary.
The cardiologist may reach out from the Cath Lab for film reviews. Experience with TAVR is a prerequisite.
. There may be additional opportunities available in 2026 and 2027, although those dates are yet to be finalized.
Weekend coverage is required once a month, from Saturday at 7 AM to Monday at 7 AM, including inpatient rounding as needed, along with call for inpatient and ER procedures limited to emergencies only.
**Credentialing Requirements:**
- **Board Certification:** Required; Board Eligible (within 5 years of training) is acceptable.
- **Life Support Certifications:** BLS (American Heart Association) required; ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required. - **Quality Data/OPPE Reports:** Recent 12-month data is mandatory.
- **Patient Contacts/Procedure Logs:** Recent 24-month logs are required.
- **Continuing Medical Education (CME):** A minimum of 25 Category I CME credits per calendar year is required.
