The Senior HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial HVAC, refrigeration, and environmental control systems throughout a large candy manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining proper environmental conditions required for food safety, product quality, employee comfort, and production reliability.
This role requires a highly skilled technician with extensive industrial HVAC experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

HVAC technical school certification or associate degree preferred

EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required

Minimum 8–10 years of industrial HVAC experience

Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in food, candy, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing

Experience with:
- Glycol systems
- Chilled water systems
- Building automation systems
- PLC-controlled HVAC systems

Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens controls

Welding and fabrication experience preferred
