Growing industrial services company is looking for a Controller to add to their team.·
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A. This is an on-site role for someone who can operate strategically while also personally handling detailed accounting and analysis.
Experience with work-in-progress accounting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition is required. Private equity experience and a CPA are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Prepare financial statements and management reporting.
- Manage WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial models.
- Perform variance, margin, and profitability analysis.
- Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
- Partner with operations to improve project reporting, margins, and financial performance.
- Strengthen internal controls, systems, and accounting processes.
- Support audit, tax, lender, board, and investor reporting.
Qualifications
- Prior Controller experience is required.
- Strong WIP and percentage-of-completion accounting experience is required.
- Hands-on FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, job costing, and project accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Private equity-backed company experience is a plus.
- CPA is a plus.
- Must be able to work on-site.

Pay: $175,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
