We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.
- Supervise junior staff members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding their purchases and any inquiries they may have.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Skills
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction management.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Experience in supervising staff is a plus, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
