City Dental Studio is looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated Dental Assistant who can confidently care for a patient from the beginning of the appointment through completion.
We are looking for a very specific type of team member. This is not a traditional dental office, and this position is not a fit for someone who prefers a slow, predictable environment, needs constant supervision, or waits to be told what to do.
Our office is modern, highly organized, and aesthetically driven. Everything—from the design of the space to the way patients are welcomed, treated, and followed up with—is done intentionally. We take pride in providing an elevated patient experience while making every patient feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their treatment.
Our practice has eight operatories and uses advanced dental technology, including:
- TRIOS and iTero digital scanners
- CBCT imaging
- Digital X-rays and intraoral photography
- In-house 3D-printed restorations
- Modern surgical and implant technology
Although we have a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign, we are a comprehensive, full-scope practice. Our services include general and family dentistry, crown and bridge, oral surgery, implants, root canals, periodontal treatment, restorative dentistry, and comprehensive treatment planning.
This Position Is for You Only If You:
- Have at least three years of hands-on dental assisting experience
- Can confidently take care of a patient from start to finish
- Have strong chairside assisting skills and basic knowledge of dental procedures
- Are reliable, punctual, and prepared to work until the doctor and clinical team are finished
- Care about aesthetics, organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Take pride in how your work reflects the quality of the entire office
- Are energetic, outgoing, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients
- Take initiative and do not wait to be told what needs to be done
- Anticipate the needs of the doctor, patients, and other team members
- Actively look for ways to improve systems, efficiency, and the patient experience
- Are eager to learn new technology and expand your clinical skills
- Accept feedback professionally and use it to improve
- Understand the importance of teamwork and consistently carry your own weight
- Remain productive during slower periods instead of waiting for direction
- Can maintain a calm, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
Clinical Responsibilities May Include:
- Preparing treatment rooms and reviewing the schedule before patients arrive
- Seating and dismissing patients professionally
- Assisting the doctor with restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant, endodontic, and general procedures
- Taking diagnostic-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
- Taking digital scans with TRIOS and iTero
- Reviewing patient charts, treatment plans, medical histories, and required materials before appointments
- Maintaining proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
- Preparing temporary restorations and assisting with laboratory cases
- Accurately documenting clinical information and patient communication
- Monitoring supplies and notifying leadership before materials run out
- Keeping operatories clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready
- Supporting the doctor and team through the completion of the clinical day
- Helping create a polished, comfortable, and luxury-level patient experience
Culture and Expectations
We are a team-driven, high-standard office. Accountability, reliability, pride, teamwork, and intentionality are non-negotiable.
Every team member is expected to follow established systems, maintain high standards, contribute to the success of the office, and continuously look for opportunities to improve.
We are willing to provide training on our specific technology, systems, and office protocols. However, the selected candidate must already have a strong dental assisting foundation and be prepared to grow into a high-level clinical assistant.
Candidates who thrive on growth, constructive feedback, responsibility, and excellence will succeed in this position.
