Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Middle School Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational experience of middle school students, support faculty development, and ensure the smooth operation of our middle school division. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of school administration and curriculum development.
Duties
- Collaborate with the principal to develop and implement strategic planning initiatives that enhance instructional quality and student achievement.
- Lead curriculum development efforts aligned with state standards and best practices in middle school education.
- Supervise and evaluate faculty performance, providing professional development facilitation to foster instructional growth.
- Ensure compliance with educational laws, regulations, and policies, including special education law and educational regulation standards.
- Oversee student discipline policies, safety procedures, and school climate initiatives to promote a positive learning environment.
- Coordinate efforts for instructional leadership in education, including classroom observations and faculty evaluation processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in K-12 school administration with a focus on middle school education.
- Skilled in professional development facilitation within school settings and supervising faculty performance.
- Excellent public speaking abilities combined with effective team leadership qualities.
- Prior classroom teaching experience coupled with a deep understanding of childhood development is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including staff, students, families, and community partners.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
