Job Overview:
Vegan Stops is seeking a dynamic and energetic Farmers Market Sales Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate about healthy eating. As a representative at our farmers market booth, you'll be the face of our brand, engaging with customers, promoting our products, and driving sales. This position requires weekend availability and a willingness to travel to various farmers market locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain an attractive, clean, and organized booth at farmers markets.
- Actively engage with customers, providing product information and answering questions.
- Invite passersby to visit the booth with enthusiasm, using your voice and energy to draw them in.
- Promote Vegan Stops products with excitement and passion, highlighting our unique offerings such as falafel plates, meal prep options, and more.
- Handle cash and mobile transactions, ensuring accurate sales and providing excellent customer service.
- Work with the team to meet sales goals and achieve commission-based incentives.
- Assist in the packing, loading, and transportation of products and supplies to and from farmers market locations.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly demeanor to create an inviting environment for customers.
- Be a brand ambassador for Vegan Stops, ensuring that customers have an exceptional experience that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements:
- Weekend availability (both Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to drive to multiple farmers market locations.
- Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality with excellent communication skills.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is required.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor setting for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for plant-based food and a healthy lifestyle.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various farmers markets.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation:
- Base hourly rate plus commission based on sales.
